YAY i’m glad that you’re getting along with the working thing. its tedious and aweful i wont sugar coat it but the sense of accomplishment you get is astounding.

Yeah, just keep your foot in the door and eventually you’ll be able to move around to different shifts. I was in a similar situation as you when I took a summer job with 7-11. Instead of working at one of the 50 stores within a square mile of my house, I had to drive 30 minutes to a store out in the boondocks. After my training period, I would have been able to switch stores if a space became available. I found a government job instead. Still, stay with it, you’ll get better hours soon enough!

It’ll be tough at first but maybe something will open up after your first 90 days an d you can transfer the good thing about grocery stores ist hat they are constantly hiring/moving people around. I went from coustomer service rep to cashier to seafood department clerk in less than a year.
